I started blogging as a 20-something-year-old dreamer and it took me through college, a semester in Ireland, two photography pilgrimages to Sicily, a year working in the suburbs, two years working and interning in New York City, then another year back in the suburbs working in Boston.
As I stumble around adult life, I’ve found myself drawn to strong female figures and the impact they have had on others – no matter how small. From women that have taken hobbies and created careers, to social workers at your local hospital, from Sen. Wendy Davis to young Malala Yousafzai – there are women across this vast universe that can have something to share, or to teach.
I’m grateful to everyone who has read my posts and laughed and cried with me. I hope you’ll continue to read and likely do more laughing and crying. Don’t get me wrong – this blog isn’t losing all that it has become – it’s just becoming more.
